The Ultimate Guide to Mobile Crazy Golf Hire

12 September 2025·6 min read

Everything you need to know about hiring a portable mini golf course for your next event — from space requirements to scoring.

Mobile crazy golf has become one of the most requested activities for UK events — and for good reason. It's social, low-skill, and instantly photogenic. In this guide we walk through how a portable nine-hole course actually works.

A standard setup is nine modular boards, each 1.5m × 3m, with iconic obstacles like the windmill, lighthouse, volcano and noughts-and-crosses. You'll need roughly 15m × 5m of clear floor space — grass, concrete, marquee flooring or a ballroom all work.

We bring everything: low-bounce balls, a range of putter sizes for kids and adults, numbered teardrop flags, branded scorecards and a dedicated operator who sets up, runs scoring and packs down.

Sessions typically run between two and six hours. With up to 18 players on the course at once, you can easily put 200+ guests through during a long event window.
