Scoring Rules and Tournament Formats for Mini Golf

Stableford, knockout or just lowest score wins? Pick the format that suits your event.
The simplest format — lowest total strokes across nine holes — works for casual events. Cap each hole at six strokes to keep things moving.
For corporate days try a quick Stableford: 3 points for under par, 2 for par, 1 for one-over. It rewards consistency and stops one bad hole from killing morale.
For festivals we love a rolling hole-in-one leaderboard — a chalkboard near hole one tracks the day's aces, and a prize goes to the longest-standing ace at sundown.
